Common Questions

What Is CrossFit?

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. Since then it has evolved to be an all-inclusive fitness program for people of any athletic capability.

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. Athletes of all levels can complete the same program side by side, each getting an intense, effective workout while scaling to individual ability. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree, not kind. Our armed forces, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

What is EVF 360?

EVF 360 is our signature strength and conditioning class. It’s a high-intensity, full-body workout focused on light weight and bodyweight exercises. Think burpees, squats, lunges, sit-ups, wall balls, kettlebell swings and more. Our experienced coaches will guide you through a challenging, fun workout accessible to athletes of all levels.

I'm new to CrossFit. What should I expect?

The best way to get you started is to pair up some Private training with indoor and/or outdoor sessions, that way your assigned trainer can guide you into what to do in the gym when you're on your own.

You can opt for 1hour Private training or just 30minutes if you just need a movement review.

Is CrossFit dangerous?

In short, yes CrossFit can be dangerous. But not in the ways you might believe. With inexperienced coaches, shoddy equipment and the wrong attitude, CrossFit can be very — but so can riding your bike or driving your car. The experienced and proven CrossFit coaches you’ll find at our facility will ensure you’re training in the safest, most effective and efficient way possible.

What's a WOD?

A WOD is the workout of the day. We program a different WOD everyday.
