Congrats to Coach Carissa on killing it at the Crush Games in Miami this weekend. She made it to the podium in the women’s Rx division and gave the competition hell. Your EVF family is so proud!

Mobility: Many of us tend to overcompensate with our lower backs to make up for weaknesses in our thoracic spine, core, glutes and quads. If you’re experiencing some pain or just looking for some ways to loosen up your lower back, try this yoga sequence from Breaking Muscle.

8-minute AMRAP:
10 push-ups
30 double unders/60 single unders
*Perform 3 burpees every minute on the minute

Rest 1 minute

8-minute AMRAP:
10 dumbbell ground to overhead (both arms)
10 box jumps
*Perform 3 burpees every minute on the minute

Rest 1 minute

8-minute AMRAP:
10 KB swings
10 weighted v-ups
*Perform 3 burpees every minute on the minute

Rest 1 minute

8-minute AMRAP:
10 overhead lunges
10 wall balls
*Perform 3 burpees every minute on the minute
