Changes at the Upper East Side
Thank you to everyone who came out on Friday to help give Julia a proper EVF farewell! As the old adage says, when we close one chapter, we open another. I am thrilled to announce our multi-talented Lola Lopez has been promoted as UES Studio Manager, effective Monday, July 9th.
Lola continues to grow here at EVF CrossFit Upper East Side. Lola started as part of the front desk sales and operations team about 2 years ago, and was promoted to Studio Lead in late 2017. As Studio Lead, she was responsible for the daily operations of the studio and worked very closely with Julia on troubleshooting member accounts, planning and executing social events and monitoring daily client interactions. In her new role as Studio Manager, Lola will be expanding her charge to include overseeing all sales and membership services for the Upper East Side and will be joined by two additional sales and operations team members supporting her in the daily operations of the studio.
Mike Florez started last week as part of the UES front desk sales and operations team. Mike is the newest EVF multi-talented addition. He has years of experience in customer service and sales in high-end retail, competes in and coaches MMA and also has formal education in iOS Mobile Development, which led him to running a side business developing mobile apps. Mike lives in Queens with his two cats.
