Monday, August 26th Crossfit Workout of the Day

By: 0

Lat strength is critical to creating a tight setup and supporting heavy weight on your back. Bent over rows and pull ups are great, but heavy bent over rows will also tax your lower back and you may not be capable of doing enough pull ups to make it effective for strengthening your lats. The chest-supported row is a great alternative – add a hold at the top on the last rep to increase isometric strength for holding that heavy bar on your back.
