TODAY IS THE FIRST OFFICIAL DAY OF THE PALEO CHALLENGE! LET’S EAT CLEAN AND TRAIN MEAN FOR THE MONTH BEFORE THANKSGIVING! Don’t forget to log your meals using the PDF in your email!
IF you choose to weigh yourself for the challenge, we will have a scale at the box starting tonight. Morning members can weigh themselves tomorrow before class. If you think you have the ability to burn a little more fat than muscle weight that you gain, this may be a beneficial metric to judge your success in the competition. We will NOT count it against you if you gain weight or are eating and training to build mass.
The list below is sloppy and there are repeats. Take a gander. The links are pretty self descriptive. They are a random collection of sites I have bookmarked over the years. It’s all good stuff. Let me know if you have questions.
Please catalogue your favorite recipes so we can make a “Box Recipe Book.” We are fortunate to have a professional chef in one of our members, Sandy. She is going to help us out with some serious recipes. To know her is to love her.
At the end of the month, we will collect recipes from our members and maybe have a pot luck, cook-off, or best recipe competition in true CrossFit style. You guys crushed your benchmark WODs and the coaches are inspired by your effort, dedication, and progress.
