Saturday November 8th, 2014 Workout of the Day

We conclude our week with the snatch. For many of us it is our nemesis. In one way it reminds me of golf, you can play 18 holes and shank every single shot, but, that one shot per 18 holes that is so smooth, so crisp, and just crushes down the fairway keeps you coming back every time. In that regard the snatch can be the same way, its so difficult but that one good lift or when something just clicks, it keeps you coming back for more. Take this cycle to stay light and work speed. Speed is the snatch. Speed allows the smaller sized athletes with not much absolute strength to land very large loads over head, far more than their larger sized brethren. It is not known as the fastest lift in the world for nothing.
