Are you mobile enough to be attempting ring dips? If you’re not sure, try these two tests and you may find you need to spend some time mobilizing your pecs and shoulders before working on ring dips.

Warm Up

7 minutes:
5 scap push ups
5 push ups
10 ring rows
:20 top dip support + :10 bottom dip support
:20 plank

Strength

Weighted/strict ring dip
5-4-3-3-3

Conditioning

20 minute AMRAP
5 strict pull ups
10 toes to bar
15 hand release push ups
