Psst, here’s a hint for Battle of the Fittest WOD 3.

Looking for another chance to showcase your fitness? Sign up for EVF’s first in-house weightlifting meet on Saturday, January 24 at Columbus Circle.

Here’s how it works: Athletes will compete in one of two weight classes, divided up between men and women. Each athlete is allowed three attempts each for the snatch and clean and jerk. If a lift is successful, the score is recorded. If a lift is unsuccessful or deemed invalid, the athlete can repeat that weight or add more weight. Weight can’t be lowered.

Your score is the total weight of your heaviest successful snatch combined with the weight of your heaviest successful clean and jerk.

Seasoned athletes and those new to Olympic lifting are welcome. Whether your goal is to set a PR, have fun with fellow EVFers or compete for the first time, we hope you join us! Sign up on MindBody or give us a call to enter.
